A book of insights that gives a taste of what life would be like as a tall female.
It reveals the personal absurdities, far fetched assumptions and overall perception society creates about height. Through personal narrative, self parody and humour it pokes fun at first world problems with the hope to reshape perceptions.

The New Zealand Fringe Festival is about grass-roots arts and culture and about emerging, developing talent. It has been providing a stage for cutting-edge creative endeavours for more than 20 years.
This branding concept for the 2016 look focuses on the mixing pot of all creativity and how fringe comes alive and invades the city of Wellington through all realms of creativity. With an ‘in your face’ approach it is confrontational and invasive with it’s exposure around city. Interactive posters, installations and competitions create an added hype that gets everyone involved.

The Alchemist’s Table create ceramic tableware that is hand-crafted and authentically designed in New Zealand. They needed a brand identity that is simple, down to earth but premium and reflected nature.
This identity draws on the visual language of alchemical tables and the elements that the materials are sourced from. With its grid-like structure it creates a system for the beautifully organic shaped ceramics to be housed in.
Brad is a registered dietitian with an academic and clinical background in exercise and mental health. He is driven to bring change for the better in his clients lives and to become the best version of themselves. Health and fitness should fit into your lifestyle – not the other way around.
Brad needed a simple and engaging brand that steps away from the millions of other similar looking health and fitness brands. Something that shows it’s not just a diet or workout, it’s a sustainable life change for each individual.
His approach to his clients is reflected in the brand through it’s versatility, engagement and playfulness. The supporting BB language creates a fun, approachable aspect that identifies ways in which Brad can coach / educate / help make your life better while still enjoying it.

Bellamys — the New Zealand parliamentary eating institution in the Beehive — and Wellington culinary icon Logan Brown restaurant joined forces to bring a unique quintessentially New Zealand dining experience. They needed a fresh identity that embodied the two.
With hints of the existing logos, the new logomark draws on the circular architecture of the Beehive and the interior of the restaurant. The fresh, earthy colour palette, NZ typefaces Metric and Domaine Sans designed by Klim Foundry and NZ B&F Papers were used to further represent New Zealand.

PARK(ing) Day is a annual open-source global event where citizens, artists and activists collaborate to temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces: temporary public places.
For the 2016 event, Designworks created a sunny side up egg to take over the park. We aimed to lift the spirits of Wellingtonians after such a dull summer and bring a smile to their faces. The egg was created using expanding foam, filler and a wok for the yolk. For an extra touch we had sizzling sound effects playing while it was ‘frying’ on the hot pavement.
At Designworks, we wanted to spread the joy even further for Christmas. To make sure everyone got to have a great Christmas, we gifted our Christmas kitty to the City Mission. Instead clients and suppliers received three virtual crackers with presents inside.

A disposable pour-over coffee maker.
Each packet contains a Chemex filter, a stand, and a set of instructions. Simply assemble on top of your cup, add your choice of speciality coffee, and gently pour over hot water. Delicious coffee is brewed straight into your cup, and there is no clean up, simply dispose into a bin (ideally a compost bin).
